Harry’s official title at ascentia CPA is partner, but to the team and clients with whom he works closely, he represents more than that. Harry started ascentia CPA to make accounting more efficient, timely, and accessible for his clients. As someone who’s always looking towards the future, Harry believes in innovation and leveraging technology to create better systems.
Harry has a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. The last 10 years of his professional life was spent in public accounting practices, specializing in tax and assurance engagements. During which, he realized that the hourly billing structure of traditional accounting firms is inefficient. And it does not serve the needs of clients.
As one of the earliest subscribers of value-based pricing and virtual accounting, Harry founded ascentia CPA to make accounting services timely, accurate, and budget-friendly for business owners. Value-based pricing gives clients a fixed price for the services upfront. And by utilizing cloud-based technology, business owners will also be able to access their financial data throughout the year, anytime, anywhere.
When Harry is not making accounting enjoyable and easy to use for his clients, he enjoys travelling, yoga, and all things food – cooking, critiquing and of course, eating. Make sure to ask for his specialty!
